Adulting: 3 Hacks for Running Late
Whether you stayed up late cup caking with your new boo or you couldn't go to sleep because you HAD to finish season 3 of Shameless, waking up for work the next day can sometimes be a joke. Or maybe you're hungover from last night and your mom just called: Sunday brunch at 11am. Sometimes your body just can't do it! But here are a few tips to fake the funk. Fake it until you make it, sis.
1. Eye gel patches- I love to keep these on standby in the fridge. They make for a great refresher and instantly wake you up. The best part is that these bad boys assist in taking down any swelling under the eyes from lack of sleep away. Buh-bye bags. Pop these on after washing your face and as your getting your outfit together or throwing breakfast in the microwave.
2. NYX Eyebrow gel- Sweep this product over your brows to give them some shape and to look like you tried. It won't be the same look that you get with your 10 minute eyebrow routine but it will pull your face together. No more caterpillars!
3. Turban - While you may or may not be able to use this trick for work days, it is still one of my favorite go to's when I've overslept and have to jet out. There are a million tutorials on YouTube and many ways to tie one. I love to use either old leggings or the infinity scarf from WalMart! I just throw my hair in a top knot and go from there. Slick my edges down, throw on a pair of hoops and I'm out of the door.
